You could also swap the soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos to make this gluten-free.<\/li>\n<li><strong>maple syrup<\/strong> \u2013 adds sweetness without using any refined sugar, but you could also use honey or other natural sweetener.<\/li>\n<li><strong>sesame oil<\/strong> \u2013 brings all these delicious flavors together!<\/li>\n<li><strong>ginger <\/strong>\u2013 fresh ginger is definitely best in this dish, but if all you have is ground ginger you can use.<\/li>\n<li><strong>thyme<\/strong> \u2013 fresh thyme really adds such a fresh taste to this meal, but you could use dried thyme, dried rosemary or even dried oregano as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>red pepper flakes<\/strong> \u2013 this is optional, but adds a nice kick of spice to this meal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>salt + pepper<\/strong> \u2013 needed to season the chicken and vegetables while adding flavor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1799\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"This Sheet Pan Maple Glazed Chicken with Vegetables is healthy, delicious and easily made all on one pan in just 30 minutes! Add cubed butternut squash, brussel sprouts and red onion in a single layer and toss with olive oil, mixing well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add chicken. <\/strong> Place the chicken thighs on top of the vegetables skin-side up and season everything with salt and black pepper.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make the sauce.<\/strong>\u00a0In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, pure maple syrup, sesame oil, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, fresh thyme, kosher salt and pepper.
